Subject: live report!

Here is a brief report of the Shonen Knife show at Shibuya On Air West! This was the special "Warner Indies Network" Live Band Showcase.

The show begins from 18:30 & the hall opened from 18:00. The entrance is on the second floor. Six Bands appeared at Quattro that night: Yoeko Kurahashi, Sampling Sun, IN-HI, Hermann H. & the Pacemakers, TAIYOZUKU and Shonen Knife.

I had a little present for Emma (Naoko's daughter): Banana Kitcut and other sweets were put into the small vinyl bag of Powerpuff Girls! I soon found Mr. Shibata (Shonen Knife Manager) when I reached the hall, and the present was passed to Emma. I asked him, "I heard Mana perform last night (with alternative band, TEEM). Did you become a member of "Rashinban"? He said, "Yes, it is a busy time now as I memorize their old repertory! There is a Live of 7 days soon next month!".

The promotion video for each band was played on a screen at the time of the performance of each band. Although other bands performed about 4-5 songs each... Shonen Knife played 10 songs! The performance suited them exactly and there was a good result! I was not able to meet them, because of the security with many bands there. However the "AAA" Promotion Video was able to be seen! I spoke with Mana there.. we both disagree with the team Tokyo Yomiuri Giants winning the Central League championship. I sent email to her: "It's too bad!"
